This is one heavy, sturdy crib (read good thing). Got it with all pieces intact and no scratches; assembled in about an hour and was really pleased with the finished product. No squeaks at all and I obeyed the warning not to over tighten any of the screws. It’s mid-priced, but worth every penny and the height adjustment is very secure with NO possibility of “slipping out”. It has a real solid feel that reflects its solid wood construction and baby sleeps like…well…a baby. Make sure to get a good mattress to go with it like one of the Sealy P’dics we got. Looking forward to the day when we turn it into a day bed, then a kids bed with the matching rails which we also bought at the same time (they may not be available in a few years due to model changes) We expect this to last a really long time.
