Desktop computers play a very big part in all our lives, but I freely admit now that I much prefer using my laptop to the desktop computer; and I suppose it was the best thing that I ever did was to buy a laptop.

I still use my desktop computer, especially at work, but the fact that I can take my laptop with me everywhere that I go is a great benefit.

It is just so easy with my laptop to access all my favorite music and videos, even when I am out on the road.

The laptop definitely has its benefits over the desktop computer, but there are also some drawbacks to having a laptop. For instance if you use the laptop for long periods of time without a break, the bottom of the laptop can get uncomfortably hot on your legs.
